Veterinary Medical Equipment Brokers
The Importance of Veterinary Medical Equipment Brokers
Through my decade plus in the veterinary medical equipment brokering I’ve found myself coming across the same reason veterinary practices find themselves jumping from one equipment provider to another. The exact reasons vary, but the bottom line is simple; VetMed has greater needs when it comes to specialty imaging. Customer service, or lack thereof, is the number one cause for a practice shifting to my company’s services. At AnimalScan we strive to position ourselves as the go-to for Veterinary MRI and CT. We’ve developed a series of add-on services to help practices either increase their service offerings or reduce the work load for a growing department.
1. AnimalScan Specializes in Customer Service
AnimalScan began as an outpatient practice dedicated to providing MRI services to animals. Our gold standard services boasted a fixed 1.5T Siemens Magnetom Symphony, boarded Anesthesiologist, A.R.R.T. license technologist, and a boarded radiology report with every patient. We could effectively scan 8 plus patients each day. Our technologists, anesthesiologist and radiologists are the Gurus of veterinary MRI. Practices training new staff, imaging a particularly difficult case, or just having some ‘glitches’ with the scanner, can reach out to our imaging support team. Using FaceTime and other video communication our technologists can help improve your imaging or help your imaging team overcome minor technical difficulties that may arise at anytime with Technical Imaging Support.
2. Al la Carte Teleradiology Services
AnimalScan recognizes the multitude of challenges presented in any veterinary speciality. Our goal is to make your imaging practice as streamlined as possible. Whether you simply want vacation coverage for your in-house radiologist or full-time read support, we offer these services from radiologists highly experienced in MRI interpretation.
3. Additional training and applications at no additional cost.
AnimalScan understands that turnover is a reality in this business. We also understand that identifying and training the right people can be challenging. That’s why we make a regular plan to incorporate additional training and applications into our leases and partnerships. Well-trained staff can be the difference between optimal scanner operation and having serious downtime. Our goal is to maximize the scanner up-time and achieve excellent imaging!
4. Flexible Leasing & Partnership Contracts
At AnimalScan we recognize that the veterinary specialty industry is developing and changing extremely quickly. Practices need Flexible leasing contracts structured to ramp up their neurology business at a rate that harmonizes with their budget and infrastructure development.
5. At AnimalScan we believe in Industry Sponsorship.
For over a decade we have sponsored the ACVIM Neurology Diplomat Dinner. This dinner is incredibly important to us and we greatly enjoy the relationships we have established through this incredible opportunity. We are greatly looking forward to the day when we can again safely participate in this event!
